All India Ayurvedic Congress

All India Ayurvedic Congress, National outfit was established in 1907. Its headquarters is in New Delhi. The All India Ayurvedic Congress (A.I.A.C) has been working for protection, propagation and promotion of the Ayurveda (Science of Life) since beginning of the last century. The Ayurvedic Congress was established in the year 1907 in the city of Nasik on the sacred banks of the river Godavari. This organization is spread all over India.

It has branches extending upto district level in almost every State of Indian Union. It is the representative body of the Ayurvedic physicians and practitioners of the country. Thousands of Vaidyas from every nook and corner of the country take part in its programmes and functions of Ayurvedic Congress at central, state and District level.

All India Ayurvedic Congress Tamil Nadu - Chapter

All India Ayurvedic Congress, Tamilnadu Chapter was established in the year 1992. Senior Ayurveda practitioners in the state took the initiative to form the state unit. AIACTN has established 5 district units in the state having more than 1000 members.

AIACTN chapter has been consolidating Ayurveda fraternity under one roof and organising CME programs, symposiums and State and National level seminars at various places. We have been joining hands with different departments of science in colleges and holding the events to provide a platform for the Students, Ayurveda practitioners and researchers to share their knowledge and research works. Also organising number of free Ayurveda medical camps to serve the needy. AIACTN has been conducting awareness programs through Ayurveda Expos and release of public information literatures and pamphlets. AIACTN has been honouring veterans of Ayurveda and the meritorious students every year.AIACTN organised the centenary celebration of the National organisation at Mylapore, Chennai in the year 2006.

With the great efforts of the organisation we could successfully get the Government Ayurveda medical college at Nagercoil.

AIACTN has been reaching out to resolve the plight of Ayurveda community in the state. Every year it has been honouring veteran Ayurveda physicians in the state Has been publishing a magazine in the name ’ArogyaKalpam’ which carries the clinical research articles and updates in the field of Ayurveda. It’s circulated among the members free of cost.

Our Motivation

Visit of Ayush Minister Govt.of India

The first Ayush Minister, Govt. of India, Hon’ble Sripad Naik soon after assuming his office visited Chennai and was given a warm welcome by the State unit AIAC TN. An exclusive one day meeting was conducted which was chaired by Padmashree P.R.Krishnakumar and the hon’ble Minister delivered his chief guest address.
